EASTERTIDE & PENTECOST BIBLE STUDY:
GOD’S COVENANT WITH MAN

“Again and again you offered a covenant to man” [4th Eucharistic Prayer]

This year we had no Lent Bible Study sessions as we did not wish to clash with the Leatherhead Churches Together, to which we belong, which held the York Course Lenten groups in people's houses during the weeks of Lent. Therefore, this year we are holding our Bible Study sessions during Eastertide and will finish on the Tuesday following Pentecost.

These six sessions follow loosely Scott Hahn’s “A Father Keeps His Promise”; Scott Hahn’s book has the subtitle “God’s Covenant Love in Scripture” and takes us through the scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation, showing how God has never given up on us, his children, despite our faults and failings; He has patiently renewed his Covenant of Love down the ages, and perfected that Covenant in Christ.

The table below indicates the covenants and Bible readings for the six weeks.
