V/. We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
R/. For by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
10TH STATION The soldiers ... took his clothing and divided it into four shares, one for each soldier. His undergarment was seamless, woven in one piece from neck to hem; so they said to one another, "Instead of tearing it, let's throw dice to decide who is to have it."
[John 19:21]

Spend a few moments in silent reflection:
- Am I prepared to be stripped of the things that hinder me from following Jesus?
- Does my attachment to possessions separate me from Jesus and from my fellow men and women?
Amo te, o Jesu, mi Amor, magis quam meípsum,
et ex íntimo corde pænitet me quod tibi displícui.
Ne sinas me íterum a te separári.
Da mihi perpétuum amórem tui,
et dein fac de me quidquid tibi placúerit.
I love you Jesus, my Love, above all things;
I repent with my whole heart for having offended you.
Never permit me to separate myself from you again.
Grant that I may love you always,
then do with me what you will.
Fac ut árdeat cor meum
in amándo Christum Deum
ut sibi compláceam
Make me feel as thou has felt;
make my soul to glow and melt
with the love of Christ our Lord.
