V/. Adorámus te, Christe, et benedícimus tibi.
R/. Quia per sanctam crucem tuam redemísti mundum.
V/. We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
R/. For by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
7TH STATION He was crushed for our sins. On him lies a punishment that brings us peace, and through his wounds we are healed.
[Isaiah 53:5]

Spend a few moments in silent reflection:
- Do I really admit that I fall into sin and need healing and peace?
- How often do I experience Christ's peace and healing in the Sacrament of Reconcilation (Confession)?
Amo te, o Jesu, mi Amor, magis quam meípsum,
et ex íntimo corde pænitet me quod tibi displícui.
Ne sinas me íterum a te separári.
Da mihi perpétuum amórem tui,
et dein fac de me quidquid tibi placúerit.
I love you Jesus, my Love, above all things;
I repent with my whole heart for having offended you.
Never permit me to separate myself from you again.
Grant that I may love you always,
then do with me what you will.
Pro peccátis suæ gentis
vidit Jesum in torméntis
et flagéllis súbditum
For the sins of His own nation
saw Him hang in desolation,
all with bloody scourges rent.
